About the Role
A top global law firm is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant / Practice Specialist to support senior leadership within its Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice. This is a high-visibility role supporting a senior M&A Partner with an exceptionally active schedule and high-profile clients.
This position is ideal for someone who is polished, proactive, and confident managing a fast-paced executive calendar. The right candidate is highly organized, articulate, and comfortable interacting with senior-level executives and high-net-worth clientele.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage an extremely active calendar, including frequent scheduling changes and tight transitions
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, conference calls, and video conferences
- Serve as a key point of contact for high-level client communications
- Keep leadership on track throughout the day, ensuring meetings and priorities stay aligned
- Handle travel coordination and expense reporting
- Support time entry, administrative tasks, and daily practice operations
- Maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive matters and communications
- Partner closely with firm leadership and other administrative professionals
What We’re Looking For
- 3–7+ years of executive assistant experience supporting senior leadership
- Experience in a professional services environment (law firm preferred, but not required)
- Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive/confidential matters
- Exceptional communication skills, professional demeanor, and executive presence
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Calm under pressure, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
