We are seeking a hands-on Instructional Designer/Training Developer experienced in Planview platforms who can quickly ramp up, refine vendor‐provided baseline materials, and produce polished, role‐specific content with minimal oversight for a Nationwide insurance provider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Refine and enhance baseline Planview program materials to improve clarity, usability, and alignment with program standards.
  • Develop supplemental training content in collaboration with the Program (PRG) and Organizational Change Management (OCM) teams.
  • Create clear, role‐based learning assets that explain system changes, process updates, and audience-specific impacts.
  • Produce job aids, classroom materials, eLearning content, and short videos (Clipchamp).
  • Partner with SMEs and cross-functional teams to validate content and ensure alignment with transformation goals.
  • Manage agile work items, break down tasks, assess readiness, and meet delivery milestones.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree + 2+ years instructional design, web design, or performance‐improvement experience

OR

HS diploma/GED + 5+ years in the same experience areas

  • Strong instructional design, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Experience delivering training for enterprise applications or project/portfolio management tools
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into approachable, role‐appropriate learning content
  • Experience working with PMOs, IT, and operational leadership
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Planview platforms (Portfolios, AdaptiveWork, etc.)
  • Proficiency using Clipchamp or similar tools for short-form video creation
  • Strong presentation, consulting, negotiation, and stakeholder‐management skills
  • Expertise with training software (flowcharting tools, eLearning tools, presentation software, CBT tools)
  • Ability to manage multiple medium‐to‐large projects independently
