Industrial Designer
We are seeking a Designer to join our team! This individual will be a self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges.
- Flexibility and the ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment is key
Responsibilities:
- Create design solutions for projects focused on retail/consumer experiences by producing eye-catching displays, windows, and graphics
- Develop concept (3D samples, renderings) for brand approval, ensuring concepts are properly and consistently aligned with brand standards
- Submit rough layouts and renderings for project approval
- Prepare orders and quotes, and assemble final technical drawings for production
- Prepare graphics for print production
Qualifications and Requirements
- BS/BA in Architecture, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Designer across a variety of practices in spatial design concentration in visual merchandising, industrial design, interior design, or graphic design
- Strong technical and verbal skills with the ability to create impactful/exciting visuals and presentations
- Strong graphic sensibility with an understanding of visual elements (layout, type, and fonts)
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects
- Ability to take direction and work self-sufficiently
- Creative, solution-oriented, open-minded approach to tasks and challenges
- Teamwork skills
- High level of proficiency in 3D Software of choice, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Previous experience in 3D design or other related fields will be considered if the candidate is new to the workforce and has the ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced work environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience in luxury brands is a plus
