We are currently looking for a Full Time Graphic Designer I to join our Newcastle Marketing team located at Newcastle Casino.
Summary:
The graphic designer will create and conceptualize graphics, illustrations, typography, layouts, logos, packaging, animations, collateral and other branding assets for educational and training purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts
- Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
- Maintain brand standards in print and digital design assets
- Plan concepts by studying information and materials
- Illustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concept
- Design collateral materials, including direct mail, ads, magazines, postcards, newsletters, flyers, invitations, and other collateral as needed
- Manage tasks through digital project management tools
- Prepare press ready files to send to printer
- Obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
- Performs all other duties as assigned
