Job Summary:

As a Senior Visual Designer at PayPal, you'll help the Proposal Strategy Team elevate the visual identity and impact of presentations and proposals designed for PayPal's global merchant audiences. Your visual design and storytelling expertise and UX principles will drive narratives and design systems. You'll also act as a creative leader within the team, designing templates, multimedia assets, and reusable collateral that position PayPal's value and differentiate it from competitors.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales data to recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare detailed reports for management review.
• Handle complex customer inquiries and provide solutions.
• Mentor junior analysts and guide their professional growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5-7 years of professional experience as a Visual Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role.
• Expertise utilizing AI-driven design tools (e.g., MidJourney, Adobe Sensei, Runway AI) and automation technologies
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and PowerPoint, with experience leveraging AI capabilities and incorporating data visualization tools
• Proven ability to develop scalable design systems (libraries, templates, and reusable components) in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Expertise in translating complex ideas into compelling visual narratives that resonate with target audiences and align with merchant objectives
• Expertise in typography, color theory, branding, composition and layout design
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and project management skills to prioritize multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience producing sales enablement materials, presentations, or proposal-related collateral for Fortune 500 enterprise clients
• Experience managing and mentoring junior designers, contractors, or freelancers to scale team outputs effectively.
• Background working directly with finance, fintech, technology, B2B solutions, or similar clients/companies
• Proven ability to collaborate and navigate discussions with executive stakeholders

The US national annual pay range for this role is $84,500 to $140,250
