Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Operator II to join their team. As a Machine Operator II, you will be part of the production department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Newberry, SC
Pay Range:$18.70 - $20.70
Shift:First Shift (5:15 AM- 3:45 PM) Second Shift (3:45 PM - 2:15 AM)
What's the Job?
- Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and shutdown a variety of production machinery and equipment.
- Cross-train on multiple roles including Blast Attendant, Slicer Operator, Power Pack Operator, and Case Packer Operator/Utility.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Participate in daily team meetings and provide feedback to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
- Basic computer and electronic data processing skills.
- Good time-management and mathematical skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Effective communication skills in English and ability to work with minimal supervision.
