Job Description:
The Senior Bodily Injury Adjuster will:
· Ensure claim metrics are current.
· Handle a case load commensurate with the complexity level of claims assigned
· Be responsible for establishing facts of loss, coverage analysis, investigation, compensability/liability/negligence determination, coordinating medical care (as appropriate), litigation management, damage assessment, settlement negotiations, identifying potential fraud and appropriate use of authorized vendors.
· Ensure timely and appropriate reserve analysis and report completion.
· Attend conferences and client meetings, which may include travel.
· Mentor other adjusters as requested.
· Ensure all file handling is within state statutes, clients’ guidelines and our best practices.
· Assist management with other miscellaneous duties as required.
Qualification Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required, 2-year degree or higher preferred.
· 5+ years of prior claim adjusting experience, preferably in the line of business being handled.
· 5+ years of heavy litigation experience.
· Must have an active New York Adjuster’s License.
· Must be willing to and have the ability to obtain a Florida Adjuster’s License or other required jurisdictional licensing.
In the spirit of pay transparency we are excited to share the base salary for the position of Senior Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster is $68,000 - $90,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for an annual performance raise if all guidelines are met. Your salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education and or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equality and consider internal equality of our current team members as a final part of any offer. Please keep in mind that range mentioned above is full base salary range for the role. Hiring at maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package.
