The Role:
We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Production Engineer who brings decisiveness, strong decision-making, and expertise to the table. In this role, you'll support Production Engineering functions including new process preparation, introduction of new technology into manufacturing, and continually improving safety, quality, and productivity. What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead investigation of new equipment to increase productivity through technology advancement. You will be the project leader in planning, procuring, integrating and installation of production equipment into the Assembly areas.
- Drive Technical improvements including: the implementation of automatic guided vehicles, selection and implementation of controlled torque tools, and projects including automated conveyors and fail-safe devices which automatically stop production when defects occur.
- Proactively identify continuous improvement activities within manufacturing to help our Associates worksafelywhile increasing thequalityof our products.
- Engage with stakeholders throughout manufacturing to increase the productivity of operations to deliver Toyota's customer the best value.
- Support organizational initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of our operations while supporting the community within which we live.
- Support manufacturing to investigate and eliminate downtime within the assigned area.
- Develop a vision and path forward for the area you support which will allow new technology and automation to increase productivity and capacity to meet future sales forecasts.
- Facilitate lean manufacturing practices within the Toyota Production System to improve material flow and inventory levels to reduce lead-time and improve safety.
- Strive to become the technical expert for the assigned support area, and proactively identify and improve issues before problems occur.
- Interact with equipment suppliers and other vendors maintain project timelines.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical/Materials/Chemical)
- Associates degree in a technical field with proven, applicable experience

- Automated guided vehicles
- 3-5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Ability to design fixtures and tooling using Solidworks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or Catia
- Strong technical experience with troubleshooting capability and willingness to work hands-on.
- Strong work ethic, intrinsically motivated, ability to organize work and execute concurrent projects.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Commitment to lifelong learning and process improvement.
- Ability to convey complex information in an understandable format.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
Salary-$75,000 - $105,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.
Relocation: This role is eligible for relocation assistance based on current location
