Position Overview:
Join the Entrust Research and Development team in Ottawa. We are a Canadian center of excellence for computer security innovation. You will gain experience and develop skills through challenging work assignments that also add value to the business.
You will: collaborate on a post-quantum project with senior developers in the Entrust PKI cryptography department.
Responsibilities:
- Crypto Research & Implementation
- Interop testing
- Contribution to documentation
Basic Qualifications
- Working knowledge of C/C++
- Working Knowledge of Java
- Working knowledge of use of open-source cryptographic modules
Preferred Qualifications:
- To be enrolled in the late stage (3rd year+) of a University degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering program
- Experience working as part of a research group
- Experience with security standards, quality standards and peer review process
- An understanding of PKI and cryptographic algorithms
- Proven track record in taking initiatives and working independently
- You are comfortable working with Windows/Unix/Linux family of operating systems
- You have used tools to manage, build, and test code that you have written.
