Job Summary:
The Senior Data Engineer role involves working with healthcare data to design, build, and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines. This includes extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources using Informatica and other technologies, developing data models, and ensuring data quality and compliance. The role also involves mentoring junior resources and contributing to internal process improvements. Location: Remote, N/A, N/A, Canada, Responsibilities:
- Design and build data infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Architect relational and multi-dimensional databases.
- Identify and implement internal process improvements to automate manual processes and optimize data delivery.
- Build analytics tools to provide actionable insights.
- Develop, maintain, optimize, troubleshoot, and monitor the ETL environment.
- Analyze datasets for compliance with data sharing agreements and data architecture guidelines.
- Mentor, support, and train information analysts and junior data management resources.
- Work with data from across the spectrum of healthcare domains.
- Refining requirements with customers.
- Extract data from various source systems and database formats, and provide data in a number of formats including ETL data pipelines.
- Documentation, including but not limited to metadata, requirements, technical design, data models, process flow diagrams.
- Change Management and Release Management adherence.
- Lead migration of Informatica ETL mappings and workflows from PowerCenter 10.4 to IDMC environment. Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science.
